From the north along I-91 (Windsor Locks, parts of Windsor, East Windsor, Enfield, Agawam, Longmeadow, Springfield): Take I-91 South to exit 35-B. Turn right at the end of the exit ramp onto Route 218 and drive four miles. Along the way, you'll go straight through intersections with Routes 187 and 189. Four miles from the interstate, just after you cross 189, Route 218 will turn sharply to the left. Instead of turning left with it, bear off to the right onto an unmarked road. This will become Maple Avenue, and the church is 0.8 mile down on the right.
From the south along I-91 (Wethersfield, Rocky Hill, Middletown, Meriden): Take I-91 North to exit 35-B. Turn left off the exit ramp onto Route 218 West and drive four miles. Along the way, you'll go straight through intersections with Routes 187 and 189. Four miles from the interstate, just after you cross 189, Route 218 will turn sharply to the left. Instead of turning left with it, bear off to the right onto an unmarked road. This will become Maple Avenue, and the church is 0.8 mile down on the right.
From the southwest along I-84 (Southington, Waterbury, Bristol, Meriden, parts of Farmington and New Britain): Take I-84 East to exit 41, South Main Street in West Hartford. Turn left off the exit ramp onto South Main Street and hit your trip odometer. Drive 5.8 miles. Along the way, you'll go straight through intersections with Routes 4, 44 and 185. (Main Street becomes Route 218 when it crosses Route 44.) When your trip odometer reads 5.8 miles, Route 218 will turn sharply to the right. Instead of turning to the right with it, turn left onto an unmarked road. This will become Maple Avenue, and the church is 0.8 mile down on the right.
From the east along I-84 (Manchester, Vernon, Rockville, Tolland): Take I-84 West to I-291 West. Drive on I-291 to exit 1. Turn left off the exit ramp onto Route 218. Drive four miles on 218. Along the way, you'll go straight through intersections with Routes 187 and 189. Four miles from the interstate, just after you cross 189, Route 218 will turn sharply to the left. Instead of turning left with it, bear off to the right onto an unmarked road. This will become Maple Avenue, and the church is 0.8 mile down on the right.
From the southeast along Route 2 (Glastonbury, parts of East Hartford, Marlborough, Colchester): Take Route 2 West to I-91 North. Get off 91 at exit 35-B, and turn left off the exit ramp onto Route 218. Drive four miles on 218. Along the way, you'll go straight through intersections with Routes 187 and 189. Four miles from the interstate, just after you cross 189, Route 218 will turn sharply to the left. Instead of turning left with it, bear off to the right onto an unmarked road. This will become Maple Avenue, and the church is 0.8 mile down on the right.
From the west along Route 44 (Avon, Canton, Collinsville): Take Route 44 east over Avon Mountain. At the foot of the mountain, turn left onto Mountain Road in West Hartford. Drive to the end of Mountain Road, turn left onto Route 185 and immediately turn right onto Burr Road. Drive to the end of Burr Road and turn left onto Maple Avenue. The church is about a quarter of a mile down on the right.
